WORDPRESS SERVER HOSTING
SERVER IN MINECRAFT
Players can interact with each other online or over a local area network using Minecraft servers. In order to make the single-player game experience consistent with the multiplayer game experience and to ensure that modifications made to the game, such as bug fixes, apply to both single-player games and multiplayer games, the game internally maintains a server for single-player games.
HISTORY
Minecraft Realms is a server hosting service that Mojang introduced in 2013 with the goal of making it simple and safe for players to operate server multiplayer games without having to set up their own. [7][8] Realms servers differ from ordinary servers in that only invited players are allowed to join, and IP addresses are not used on these servers. Realms will enable Minecraft to support cross-platform play between Windows 10, iOS, and Android devices starting in June 2016[9], with additional platforms arriving over the following two years, it was revealed at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016.
In order to prohibit servers from selling microtransactions, such as pay-to-win items, which many players felt unfairly affected gameplay[10], Mojang started enforcing the EULA of the PC versions of the game in June 2014. Instead, servers are only permitted to offer aesthetic items. [12] This led to the shutdown of numerous servers. [13]
The Bedrock codebase-derived versions of the game's Better Together Update, which was launched on September 20, 2017, includes multiplayer servers as well as six officially featured servers: Mineplex, Lifeboat, CubeCraft, Mineville City, Pixel Paradise, and The Hive.
Player conversation reporting was included in "The Wild Update," version 1.19.1, which was released on July 27, 2022. As a result, gamers might report offensive chat comments made by other players and risk being permanently banned from multiplayer if they did so.
